Epcot

Here's what it looks like outside our window this morning. Pretty, but stormy. So, I'm taking the opportunity to relax and write a post and drink some coffee.

I'm not sure how many more opportunities I'll have to blog on this trip - have you ever been in an amusement park for 12 hours straight? I can't believe I'm planning to do this for the whole rest of the week.

Yesterday, we drove to Magic Kingdom and took the tram to Epcot, thinking we'd catch the Epcot show at 9:00pm and then go play at Magic Kingdom till it closed at 1:00am. Boy, is that easier said than done. I was about to make Bear carry me home.

We didn't take a huge number of pictures, since we were mostly just hanging on each other in sheer exhaustion, but here are a few...

We came across these guys in the Japan section of Epcot - they were awesome, I wish I could have recorded the audio. I love it when a sound is so powerful that you can feel it.



And here's the light show. They float this huge lit-up globe out into the lagoon, and shoot off fireworks and balls of fire and stuff.

Well, Bear is pleading with me to hurry up and get going... so I guess I'll take the longest shower in the history of the world and hope the storms are past when I get out.
